Landscape Sensitivity and Green Infrastructure Study
The Landscape Sensitivity and Green Infrastructure Study provides evidence to help ensure that locations identified for economic and housing development conserves and enhances landscape, biodiversity and green infrastructure. Using a systematic assessment framework it examines the sensitivity of the landscape, exploring the extent to which different areas can accommodate development without impacting on their key landscape qualities.
It also considers the potential for positive change, particularly through the development and enhancement of Green Infrastructure. This includes identifying opportunities to develop better connected biodiversity networks, improved flood risk management and new recreational assets.
